Viggo Tarasov: I heard you struck my son.
Aurelio: Yes, sir, I did.
Viggo Tarasov: And may I ask why?
Aurelio: Yeah, well, because he stole John Wick's car, sir, and, uh, killed his dog.
Viggo Tarasov: [pause] Oh.

The John Wick movies are a ton of fun. A barrage of brutal fights almost cover to cover but delivered with such style it's easy to sit back and enjoy the choreography of director Chad Stahelski, and his team from 87Eleven Action Design, at work.

And then there's the moment in Chapter 2 where they jump a '69 Ford Mustang sideways out of a warehouse.

This is possibly my all time favourite maneuver in any car chase. The weight of the car, the momentum, the perfect bounce in the suspension and the gliding camera work marry up and deliver a shot that I was convinced must have been CGI, however I quickly learned that it was the expert driving of Stuntman Jeremy Fry that enabled this shot.

Incredible work.
