Baby driver is 8 years old! Good grief those pandemic years really messed up my perception of time.
Baby Driver is awesome. I remember not 100% clicking with this film on my first viewing, but liked it more than enough to give it another shot and then, then I saw soo much that I had missed the first time round and LOVED it. That scene of Baby grooving through the streets with the coffee is truly immaculate, the music the visual sound effects daubed on every piece of the set. So brilliant!

Another reason I love this film is the relationship between Baby and Deborah reminded me of Clarence and Alabama from True Romance (myalltimefavouritefilmbarnone), albeit with a touch more innocence.
There are multiple classic tracks that I'd hear over the years but only after watching this film have made it into regular circulation on my playlists.
Edgar Wright continues to deliver modern classics but he doesn't rush. I really hope we get more like this soon.
